Forgiveness and Deliverance

Each time we don't choose love, we violate the desire of God's heart. When acknowledged with Godly sorrow (sincerely) before Him, He has one response-FORGIVEN. Receiving His forgiveness reconciles us once again to His heart of grace, and brings deliverance to our hearts.

He promises it clearly in: I John 1:9-"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The result of our receiving His forgiveness is our deliverance from the evil within us. Somehow, the blood that was shed at the cross, is then allowed to flow freely through us, and brings the cleansing.

How many times have we spurned His forgiveness thinking we are not worthy of it, even in our subconscious? Maybe we have put a limit on it, somewhere deep inside us, and haven't believed God about the 7x7 truth, (unlimited forgiveness) and so we remain unforgiven, feeling full of fear, guilt and shame because of it, and still full of unrighteousness.

If so, dear brothers and sisters, know that I have just come out of this situation, and it's from this place that I write. Deep within me, I cried, "But someone must be punished; someone must be punished," to which my Father, by His Spirit, showed me the cross. For every thing we've ever done that has brought us so much shame and sorry, He has only one response: FORGIVENESS, with a welcome back sign on His heart. Will we receive this gift? Even though it doesn't seem right to our carnal minds, it's the only path to being set free and experiencing His Presence and love. And so He waits.

Receiving forgiveness and our subsequent deliverance walk hand in hand. Take it humbly; it's yours.

The Holy Spirit's Constraining and Protective Power

Have you discovered that there is something in you that "won't let you" connect with certain people and, with other people, you connect with instantly, without hesitation. Is this "something" the Holy Spirit's discernment, holding you back? Yes, it is His divine protection preventing us from being unequally yoked. (2 Cor. 6:14) What does His light in us have to do with the darkness of deception in some others, keeping in mind that a little leaven leavens the whole batch?
Being spiritually distant from other people, who you may have once been close to, is part of the cost of following Him, and as time goes on, if their hearts don't turn from suppressing the truth in unrighteousness (Rom. 1:18) to loving and embracing the truth, above all fleshly desires, the distance will only get greater.
Many today want to claim they love Jesus, and yet spurn His Word, even though Him and His Word cannot be separated.

"For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."-Luke 9:26. and as Jesus prayed to the Father for us before departing from this world, He says in John 17:17-"Sanctify them in truth; Your Word is truth." Again, He is even called by the name in Rev. 19:13-"He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God."

This separating Christ from the written Word of God is a great deception played by satan Himself, however, if we don't love the truth, (which is Him and the written Word) but suppress it in unrighteousness, we are vulnerable to fall for every scheme of his, and will lose the protective discernment of the Lord.

We are not to try and build bridges between ourselves and others, when the Holy Spirit in us is keeping us safe  from being infected with their dark deceptions and false doctrines, even though they may present themselves as angels of light. The only way we can be "one" with them is to compromise what we know to be the truth. What is our response to be then?

"Come out from among them and be separate," He states clearly in 2 Cor. 6:17, and then, and only then, will He be our God and we, His people and He will receive us as His sons and daughters. (2 Cor. 6:16-18.) Read it for yourself.

Being Delivered From The Windmills of Our Minds

It's not that we have all the answers to our questions when we begin to fully trust in Christ, it's just that the answers don't matter anymore, or that the questions lose their significance, because all else pales in comparison to knowing Him. The silence is His voice and heartbeat. Be Still. Hear. Listen. Follow.

His Thoughts Towards Me

In the post called, "Fat and Ugly" I shared that it was revealed to me that I held that belief about my physical appearance, on a deep level, which had surfaced lately, and was seeking the Lord for why I would have that self-rejecting thought. Why did I place so much importance on how I looked? He told me to wait for my healing.
He didn't follow my program of telling the answers to the "whys" that I thought I needed. I am learning the answer to everything is not always in understanding the problem.
A few days ago, He spoke a few Life-giving words to me from His Spirit to mine: "You are precious." I don't know how these words brought healing to me, but they did. Not to say that I won't struggle in this area ever again, but knowing my preciousness to Him will protect me from ever being shaken by whatever my outward appearance is. Our preciousness  to Him is a strong tower against our own negative perceptions about ourself, because it's better to be precious than pretty. One is fleeting and the other is eternal.
