Free to Now Serve Him in Newness of Life

     Because we have been "free from the law of sin and death" does not mean that the 
law of love, or the law of righteousness is gone or removed. It means that the power that caused us to sin, does not now have dominion, because the Holy Spirit within us has conquered that power, when Jesus triumphed over the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross. Through His Holy Spirit, He imparts to us that same power. Now, we are free to be "slaves of righteousness" which we are happy to be, with a desire to bring glory to our Lord. We now want to stay with Him and serve Him all the days of our life.
