Lawlessness Will Increase

      A few days ago one of the most passionate evangelists of the century, Steve Hill, of the Brownsville Revival fame, died. I am sad, not of his passing, but because the Spirit of the fear of the Lord, which is one of the seven spirits of God, expressed Himself through him mightily for many years and many came to the Lord, including my daughter and then subsequently, her brothers.
      I haven't seen this same spirit expressed through another vessel in this generation, except maybe David Wilkerson, who also was taken to Glory. Who will provide a clarion call to "turn from your sins, and unto God"? Has God removed this from the earth and could his passing be part of when God takes away that which restrains? If so, it is a sad day indeed, and a scary one. Even so, come Lord Jesus.






2 Thessalonians 2:6-8
…6And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;…


The good news, however, is on the other side of the tribulation, when the Light of the world returns to get His Bride for the marriage supper of the Lamb, and the ultimate plan of the ages is consummated, when He will rule and reign forever and ever.
