Jehovah Mauzzi-The Lord My Fortress (Jeremiah 16:19)
It's hard to believe that there will be a time in the future when there will be a new heaven and a new earth, if we look at what we see happening today. I have a brother staying with us who has a message for the Church, telling Christians about the agenda of Islam to infiltrate a country by population and positions of power, then, when they get to a certain percentage, they begin to push for legislation which eventually will turn that nation to be under Sharia Law; the Muslim law of the land.
He cautions Christians not to even think that the two can be one, as their god is definately not the One True God, through Jesus Christ, His Son. In other words, there is a gigantic hook hidden in that juicy worm.
We can be assured, however, that God is in control. He knows all about what has happened, what is happening and what will happen here in America and around the world. It's my opinion that people are scrambling to vote the right person into the Presidency in this election because of the overwhelming problems that they see happening in the loss of freedom, and in the threat of what tomorrow will bring.
I somewhat compare these mega-problems to what me and my family experienced from about 1980-1995. These were our years of hardship and turmoil. We didn't know Jesus at this time, and the seeds we had planted, which were sown to the flesh, had begun to reap corruption. Our lives were destroyed, our marriage was in a shambles, and our children were lost and hurting. It seemed like the devil was having his way unabated. Being under the dark cloud of pain and oppression was indescriable. Add to that, the economic fall-out in 1980 (the year we began farming). In 7 years, we had incurred close to $400,000.00 in debt! It's hard to believe it even now as I write it. Through circumstances orchestrated by God, I know, the government forgave this debt!!! It was God wooing us, even in the midst of the harvest of our sins.
A few years later, while on my kitchen floor, God came to me, and I turned to Him. From then on, I began praying for my families' salvation, and over much time, they began miraculously turning to Him one by one.
We must turn to God, brothers and sisters, and trust Him to get us out of this mess in America!!! Only by His supernatural power and intervention will we be saved from what is coming down the line. How many of us are really asking God, "what are my wicked ways?" and wanting Him to show us, and then when He does, confess them and repent? This is what the infamous II Chron. 7:14 verse is saying. That we, God's people, must let God search us, as we are, His Holy Nation. "Let judgment begin at the house of God," He says. It seems like we would rather point the finger at "the enemy" or those sinners out there, and blame them for all that's wrong, instead of saying to God "let peace begin with me." Sinners are going to sin! Let's look within.
But, if we don't turn to God in trust, but instead trust in horses and chariots (the physical realm which includes man and his ways) then, I believe, He won't intervene,and He may not anyway, if we are already on His end-time timeline, with no turning back.
The point is that we are at a place that is too big for man to handle, and we need to call out to Him for help or humble ourselves before Him. We know what happened when Man tried to build the tower of Babel, or tried to build a part from God!
God, help us turn to you. Turn our hearts to you and not to man. You, only are our strength and shield. You are our Rock; our High Tower, and our Good Shepherd. Save us from ourselves and our wicked ways, once again. We are sorry that we have lived our own lives, that we have embraced the world and culture around us, and have not "come out from among them" as You've counseled us. We've sown to the wind, and we are reaping the whirlwind. We are sorry we didn't believe You in this. We have said, "God doesn't see." And, now we are in trouble. We are sinking, and we need You. In Your judgement, remember Mercy. God, help us be opened to You revealing to us our wicked ways and to you turning us from them.Amen.
