Yielding to His Understanding

Spiritual understanding. What does this mean? The Spirit of God leads us into all truth. This truth is according to His understanding, and not our own carnal understanding. If we have the  Spirit of God in us, and are growing in grace and truth, His understanding (the real truth) will become ours too, and we will begin to see things as He sees them. The Kingdom of God and it's ways will be seen, so that we will walk in them, making His Kingdom shine brighter and brighter with each step we take. His ways are a mystery to our senses and to the world. The mysteries will become less cloudy as we embrace and replace our thinking with His. The truth that says he will renew our minds is more than just deciding to read the Bible more. If we are interpreting it through our own unrenewed minds and not open to the Spirit's leading and understanding, then we will just have our carnal understanding reinforced, becoming more dogmatic in our false conclusions. The Kingdom of God is a whole new realm of seeing things. "It is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom." "Enter into the joys of the Lord." It is joyous because it brings true life and because it is true. Lovers of the truth gladly enter this Kingdom, happy to lay down their former understanding for His. This is but another form of submission, which can only lead to good things.
