Unforgiveness equals justified sin and deception

Going through a period of understanding unforgiveness and it's "power." It's based on the Scripture that says," if you retain someone's sins, they are retained." So, if we hold someone "captive" by not forgiving them, then we are keeping them captive to continuing in sin, whether it be that sin or others. They are bound in many areas from "walking in newness of life." As we mete their sin with our punishments, we are declaring that they are condemned, and then they will continue to walk as if they were, being held there until you let them out of prison. You may say, "but if God has forgiven them, then they are free." And to that I say, "I hear you, but He put that other truth in there for us to be involved with that somehow."
Sitting down with them exposing how they offend you to try and "help them see" their sin is not going to work. The only thing that does is bring condemnation, which is the fuel used to continue in the sin, not keep them from it.
The work of forgiveness must be done between us and the Lord, and then our hearts are cleansed from it's wrongly- used vengeance, and we begin to see the other person in a different light, freeing them from our accusations and the resulting bondage. Once they are free from our prison, God is then free to "speak to them," and then they can either confess and have Him cleanse them or go their own way. If it's someone in close proximity to us, it may mean us continuing to forgive to make the path clear for God to speak. If we put them in prison by unforgiveness, God chooses to let this lie until the time we release them. The result in us will be a hardened heart full of vengeful hate; a sin brought before God which He says he holds us to unless we forgive.
So, if we've been desiring for someone to change and "do right by us," and they aren't doing it and may even be increasing in their same offensive ways, it may be because we haven't released them to God's dealings by our unforgiveness.
Search me, O God, and know me and see if there be any unclean way in me, and lead me to the path of righteousness for your name's sake. Amen.

The Father and the Son

Looking into the relationship of our Father with His Son is an awe-inspiring wonder! As he reveals to us a glimpse for us to behold, we see something that is not only between the two of them, but is available to us also. This same love, this same glory, this same honor, this same respect, this same confidence and security, and this same value is meant to be flowing from our Father to us, as we are in the Son. Can you see this, brother? Can you see this, sister? Gender doesn't matter. We are in the Son.
This relationship can fill everything in us which we have desired. He is well-pleased with us, as we are in the Son. He values us with the highest regard. We are in the Son. The Son has satisfied His Father completely as He fulfilled the righteous requirements of the law in our stead, so He is well-pleased with us in the Son.
This relationship is ever going on, in and through us , as the Son is in us. It is by faith that we know it is so. As our own crucifixion takes place more and more, we will, in experience, participate in this very rich and satisfying relationship with our Father, through the Son and by the Son and because of the Son. It is a relationship like none we''ve ever known. It is life, and love, and truth!! It is pure and refreshing and sustaining!! It is never-ending and never disappointing!! It produces good things in us!!! And it pleases our Father, for He is pleased with His Son's willing obedience to carry out His most Holy Will on His earth mission. As a result, He is pleased with us, for we are in the Son.
Desire to die, for in that all struggle is gone, and new life, in the Son, with the Father will come forth in you and through you.

One Nation Under God

There is truly only one nation that God is focused on, and it is not a geographical one:

" But you are a chosen people, A HOLY NATION, a people belonging to God , that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." I Peter 2:9.
This nation is His family; those who believe and trust in His Son, Jesus. He is concerned with the nations of this earth only because He is love and He wills that none perish. His Kingdom is not of this world. He wants all to receive the salvation that He, through His Son, has won for them. He desires to bring many sons to glory. Those in His nation (family) have been strategically placed to shine His light on those who live around them in the hope , they too, will receive their Savior.
Let's ask the Father of this great nation to renew our minds towards eternal things so that we won't be distracted by physical ones. Then we will be enabled for our Father to carry out His Will and desires through us and be glorified. In this way, we will pledge our allegiance to our great King. Amen.
